Its not quite that simple as U.H. are aligned with the Irish Age Group System; so its done on year of birth in 2 year bands i.e 2002-2003. Nominations for one of the programs is done via schools (approx 4 per school) except for the Talent Development Program which takes nominations from School and Club and has a trial phase before entry into the program.

Main aim of the camps are advanced skills in a collective environment of more advanced hockey players, coached by highly qualified coaches and international players. Talent Camps normally run during each major holiday. Format is generally skills in the morning and matches in the afternoon. Also give out prizes for best player, winning team, most improved.

Not strictly a camp, but PSI Belfast bears run a series of indoor hockey coaching sessions including  a taster session from approx November through to end of May. At the end of this the Bears take a number of squads to the PSI Ireland end of season Showdown in Dublin where they play the six other Irish Franchises. Run by a group of experienced indoor hockey players (which there are not to many of in Ulster).

Pro Series Indoor started in South Africa and has approx 12,000 members playing under a number of Franchises. Indoor hockey is set to grow in Ireland as Irish Hockey have announced they will be sending teams to the next world cup and with experience in Ulster limited this is a great way to get involved.
